Since its inception over 20 years ago, STARS BASKETBALL has been providing youth athletic programming in and around the Calgary area. With a focus on basketball, STARS has become one of Canada’s leading developmental basketball programs for youth today.
Fostering growth and development for all ages and ability levels, STARS prides itself on fair play, positive attitudes, and character building related to self-esteem, self-respect and teamwork. Programs are designed to develop both technical and personal skills, building a foundation for youth development both on and off the court. Programs are in accordance with Sport Canada's Long Term Athlete Development model and designed to provide all ages and ability levels with the growth and development required to become a better basketball player and athlete. STARS Basketball programs are instructed by professionally trained and certified staff.
Kidsport is an organization that helps give every player the chance to compete, contribute and excel in sports within Calgary. The program is designed to provide financial support to families who would otherwise not be able to afford playing organized sports in the city. Click here for more information.
